Romains - New American Bible

Ecrit vers la fin du troisième voyage missionnaire, Paul estime que sa tâche se termine en Orient. Sa seule obligation est de remettre à l'Eglise de Jérusalem le fruit de la collecte à laquelle il travaille. Durant l'hiver 57-58, il décide d'écrire à cette église pour préparer sa venue. Paul sait qu'il existe dans cette communauté quelques causes de mésentente et de désordre. Plan : Préambule (1), La justification par la foi (1-8), le rejet d'Israël (9-11), l'hymne à la sagesse divine (11,33-36), la partie morale (12-15) et la conclusion (15,14-16).
